Dungeons and Dragons is a tabletop role playing game that centers imagination, improvisation, imperfection, and epic heroism.
Germantown Natural 20 offers a chance for young people to play Dungeons and Dragons in-person, on a consistent basis, in a facilitated social setting.
Why D&D?
Opportunity to get off of screens-
I will never shame someone for using devices or screens, but I do see a lack of in-person interaction in young people today and see this as a great opportunity to find joy and fun in real-world interactions and reactions.
Developing patience-
It is a game of waiting for your turn. We will help develop the skill of waiting for our players at the table.
Practice socializing-
Practice interactions with others without the real-world implications. Whether interacting with each other, or with a character that the GM plays, the player will see reactions and results of their behavior in the imaginary world without experiencing real-world shame.
So much fun-
It is seriously the best game ever.
Learn to fail-
You can do almost anything you can dream of in this game, but the outcome is determined by a roll of the dice, and there are so many rolls of the dice.
Practice sharing the spotlight-
You can’t win the game alone, sometimes you will be the hero, and sometimes it will be the person across the table.

Join a D&D campaign! 4 -2hr sessions, $140, includes pizza.
Embark on a thrilling Dungeons & Dragons experience. The sessions run 4 weeks at a time with the option for all to continue together in the same campaign after 4 weeks. Most Campaigns last throughout the school year with many opting to continue the following year after Summer break.
Open to all experience levels.

Frank has been an avid player of Dungeons and Dragons since 2014. Whether they're acting as a player or a game master, their approach to the game is simple - maximize inclusion and collaboration for everyone. Co-creating worlds and the stories that populate them together is the greatest joy this game has to offer. It's amazing what rich and resilient communities can develop when you consistently get together with a few folks to craft a shared vision of another world with limitless possibilities. About Shane
Shane (they/he) prides themself on being a professional nerd particularly passionate about math education, rubik’s cubes and political organizing. They were introduced to Dungeons and Dragons through the Adventure Zone, Shane continues to love Dimension 20 amongst other actual play shows. He has since expanded his experience with various role playing formats particularly enjoying one-sheets like ‘Everyone is John’ and ‘Honey Heist’.
Recently they have begun playing a simplified, one-sheet version of D&D with the young people they facilitate at Natural Creativity. So far a group of animal friends has defeated a hideous monster that fell from a portal to another dimension, another cohort of friends found themselves battling zombies when they just wanted a nice slice of pizza, and in a Hilda inspired adventure, three friends had to defeat a troll.
It is a joy to bring this vehicle for collective storytelling to a younger audience. Join for a chance to make new friends and explore new challenges together.
